Let’s get this straight, Trump’s political operatives examined the polls leading up to the 2018 Midterms and advised him ‘it’s the economy stupid.’ And he cast the script aside that could’ve made this election trickier for the GOP’s newly acquired base of support in states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Instead, the person masquerading as President focused on polarizing issues like immigration and used fear-mongering and scare tactics of talk about sending troops to the border and shooting to kill if rocks were thrown.
There was talk about Middle Eastern terrorists being among the caravan posing a grave threat to the United States.
The contrast between President Obama and Trump closing arguments were clear. On one side not voting and Trump himself was the real threat and on the other side, there were accusations of the Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum being a thief and turning the state of Florida into a ruined socialist state like Venezuela and Georgia’s Minority Leader (Stacey Abrams) being woefully unqualified.
Speaker Paul Ryan felt the need to push back on the outlandish birthright citizenship claims and changing the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution. Trump used it as an opportunity to put the dismal polls of key House races on the Speaker’s lap.
Paul Ryan should be focusing on holding the Majority rather than giving his opinions on Birthright Citizenship, something he knows nothing about! Our new Republican Majority will work on this, Closing the Immigration Loopholes and Securing our Border!

There are many indicators that this President is a devout racist, especially when you factor in his claim of being a “nationalist,” his former lawyer and “fixer” giving detailed instances of Trump is a racist, the campaign ad that the TV networks and Facebook removed because it was deemed racist, expressing a moral equivalence between protesters and Nazi supremacists after the Charlottesville incident and instances where he questioned the intelligence of prominent Black people for no reason other than their disagreement with his behavior while in Office.
Trump had an opportunity to look Presidential since he was elected. Voters would’ve been inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, but how can one legitimize the constant barrage of lies and misinformation coming out of this White House. Even Ben and Jerry’s felt the need to come out with a new ‘Resist’ flavor.
If the Democrats win the House it will be a result of Trump squandering it for the GOP. If you live by the sword, you’ll die by the sword. They put all of their cards on Trump’s lap.
What we’re witnessing is the dismantling of the most divisive and corrosive President in the history of the Presidency and there could be evidence that Trump played this hand because of the Special Counsel investigation and its access to all of the financial records that will give the public detailed info on his ties to Russia and the Kremlin.
A Presidency on the defensive requires theatrics and venom.
