Vote for Harriet Tubman in 2020

The media put microphones in front of the most ignorant people and asked them why they supported Donald Trump in 2016 and it was a hodgepodge of responses. Some said they wanted to shake up Washington, DC and others talked about restoring the constitution.

CNN should’ve qualified Trump supporters knowledge of the government by asking them questions like, how many branches of government does the United States have? Or, even asked some of Trump’s supporters to spell constitution to get a real sense of why they were backing Trump.

Many of Trump supporters made it clear that race was that single issue.

On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, if nothing else, we should vote for a single issue too and that is to get Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill. We should take a page out of the single issue voter’s playbook.

We don’t need to read the New York Times report to know Trump’s base of racist supporters and Trump himself shuns the notion of having a prominent woman and a Black person on US currency. No other figure comes close to signifying self-determination and bravery in the face of evil in American society.
